Whine when I let off the throttle...

Default Whine when I let off the throttle...
I have an '07 A6, and when I let off the throttle at different speeds I hear a whine. It seems to get louder as the speed increases. Any ideas? Maybe the rear end? TIA.

Could be a number of things, take it to the dealer.

Could be the tranny.

Usually a whine on decel after letting off the gas is a rearend related issue. Get it to the dealer.
