If they don't,there's other places that sell the shroud, but I think they do.

Cutting the shroud & pop riveting the filter frame to it is about the easiest/quickest part of the installation.

The hard part is getting the shroud in and out - and you'd have to deal with that even with a precut shroud.

Marking the shroud with masking tape, while still in the car, and cutting it, ONCE IT IS OUT OF THE CAR, will take between 5 and 10 extra minutes.

Removing it and replacing it, and you'd have to deal with that even with a precut shroud, is what is time consuming.

If you just want a stock, uncut shroud, for later, those can be had from GM Parts direct.

I asked the same question of Callaway and they wrote back and said they do not have a precut shroud. However, I agree with everyone here, cutting and pop riveting is the easy part. If you want a new shroud (I had to get one because my original shroud was already cut up in the wrong areas), get one from Gene Culley. Mine was $31 shipped to my door in 3 days.

$31.00 for that shroud shipped is not a bad price at all considering what we pay for Corvette parts.

Yea, unfortunately, I think Gene doesn't make much money on this particular part because he uses a standard $7.50 shipping charge and I'm betting this cost more to ship.

Callaway doesn't currently offer the pre-cut shroud.
We are considering it, however, and we'll let you know if we'll add it to the product line next week.

When I installed mine I was more than happy to cut the shroud after I got it out as payback. Big hands and litlle sharp plastic things dont mix.

Better instructions with blow-up pictures of the fasteners they are referring to would help a lot with the install of this device; Also, I suspect an inexpensive tool could be fashioned to help remove the shroud; there are a lot of overlapping pieces on the bottom of the shroud that are the same black color and it is hard for a novice to know what is connected to what.
