Default Winter has been long! Thinking of converting C6 to 4X4

I have been counting the days since Dec. I think a 4 wheel drive might be the solution. Please talk me out of it and tell me to hang in there.

You don't really have to convert the Vette to 4 wheel drive. A lift kit and some good studded snow tires will get the job done. Remember, the only thing 4x4 is good for is to get you stuck further from the reach of the tow truck's cable. Anywhere you can reach with 4x4, you can reach with 2 wheel drive, good tires, and good driving skills.

That is not even close to being true.

I have the best of both worlds.

Would you believe I ran a 14.82 @ 90 in the 1/4 with that truck?

It is not the Vettes garage mate b/c it wont fit..... It has to stay outside....

Yea and maybe a shovel and a winch. I'm constantly learning from your expertise but (unless it was said in jest) I will respectfully disagree with you on this one. I've had some experience driving both 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive vehicles (in mountains, sand, mud, rocks, inclines, etc.) continually over the past 40 years and from my experience....there are places a 4x4 can go that no 2x4 can.

I recall seeing a picture of a C3 4X4 years ago. Somebody put a C3 body on a 4X4 chassis from a jeep or something. It was very cool-looking, actually.

You may joke ,BUT why not!! I'm sure the a 400 - 500 hp car could run all wheel drive. MITSU does it with outstanding results!!
