Competition Gray On Atomic Orange??
Greetings to all once again... I'm back after a long hiatus.... was once a "NEWC5SHOPPER", but now it's a new c6! Will be ordering a new '07 vert in AO/blk top/two tone interior, but can't decide on wheels..... I searched, but found no thread or post regarding the orange/gray wheels. Can anyone help? Also---are there exhaust vids/soundbytes on the forum??? I am leaning towards Zoomers, but want to hear more before I decide... Thanks to all! (and I'm glad to be back.....!)

Don't have any pix to point you to but I saw a guy picking up an AO with the Comp Grey wheels when I picked mine up from the museum and it looked great! Made me kind of wish I had gone that route.

Hey NewC5, great choice in color combination. I have the exact match except for chrome wheels. Wanted Ebony interior at first, but glad I went for the Ebony/Cash seats. Looks great with the top down.
Should look great with the gray wheels. I'm thinking of going either alum/teflon or alum/black. Should be good contrast.
When you get your LLoyd's mats (cause the stock mats suck) get black ones. CHeck out my pics.

Which 2-tone interior are you considering, Ebony / Titanium or Ebony / Cashmere? Personally, I think Ebony / Titanium with the Competition Gray wheels would be a great combo on an AO vert with black top.

Go gray and don't sweat the brake dust...
The comp gray wheels are one of the few options that have almost downside. If you should decide that you don't like them after you've had them for a while, you can sell them on C6 Parts and probably get your money back. You might even make a buck or two on those wheels. They seem to fetch as much or more than the upgrade costs on the sticker.
Unfortunately, I can't show you what they look like with AOrange, but I can show you what they look like on LBlue...maybe you can Photoshop it...

Thanks!
YOU guys are the bomb...... Thanks for the good info--and the photoshop!!!! I am very glad to be getting back to a forum that is truly helpful and full of good infomation.... We will order our vert with the two tone interior, but unsure of which one--probably the titanium/ebony, but I saw one with the ebony/cashmere on here yesterday, and man, I just don't know now! Decisions, decisions! HA!
Any sources of sound bytes for exhausts???? I had Borla on my '05 GTO, and loved it, and I have Zoomers on my '07 mustang gt vert, and it sounds so evil........ Plus, I had Bassani on my '04 MY C5.... it was great, too--except for the drone. .... just would like to hear more!
Thanks, everyone!

any drone?
Anyone experience drone with the Zoomers on an 6spd auto equipped car?? There is a tad bit @ 1800-2200 rpm on our stang, but if it is no worse than that on the c6, I won't mind at all... I read on the Corsa ad that the new paddle shift auto's experience severe drone with some systems..... loud--I don't mind... drone---I hate!

I like the competition gray wheels too. I am thinking about getting the Z06 reproduction wheels in competition gray for my Victory Red Z51 coupe. Any thoughts on how that combination would look or better yet pictures?
