That is just SH! I wish I could be there for that one. I gotta make some calls to the buds at Randolph AFB to get their $sses down there and go NAVY for a day. Ghost Rider.......the pattern will definitely be full. Thanks for setting that up

I would really love to do this!!! My father served aboard this carrier in WWII. I have some memorabilia from the ship that I have been planning to donate to their museum after his death.

This sounds so and a great cause. Might be time for a road trip. I would imagine there will be lots of interest so I had better decide quick. Northern CA. to Corpus Christi....hummm need to think about this a bit.

I would love to be a part of this...but nearly 1,300 miles and work both the Friday before and the Monday after will prevent me from making it. I will have to get a picture!

I was stationed on the Lex in the late 60's. I have always wanted to go back and see her with my wife. This event would be a great time to visit. Were going to try and make the event.

Hey! I'd pay to watch them sling your Lingenfelter of the deck of the Lexington.

I sent my registration by express mail yesterday. I always regretted not visiting the Lexington when she was stationed in Pensacola, so my nephew, who is all about everything Navy, and I will not miss this event!

Update: There are three Corvettes from the Emerald Coast Corvette Club hoping to make the list!

I made the list...

Got my hotel reserved as well on the bay side with a balconey... a fine beer, cigar, and sea breeze... It don't get much better than that.

I got my registration sent in this week. What's a good choice for a hotel for this event?
