Default black out kits for c6

hey I was tryin to decide to go with a full black out kit on my rear tail lights. and trying to find the best route to go. do some people just tint the rear tail lights or do people put the black out kits on the front lights also. I know there are many ways of blacking out your kits. you can either get TINT film, or they make more expensive kits that wont break or get the spider webb look. also I was thinking about going with SOUTHERNCARPARTS Tail Light seals. its going to be on a victory red 08 c6 what do you think would look better. The Tail lights seals. Or a black out kit on the tail lights on a victory red car. and do most people that black out the rear lights do yall black out the front as well? i dont want it to look odd or weird. So let me know what yall think on the black out kits on a victory red coupe. and if yall have some pictures that would be great Id love to see some. and What vendor yall got them from and some prices woulld be nice also thanx yall

I bought mine from Mid America. All the lights(taillights, rear markers, rear brake light, and front side markers...expensive! $950 total. Its worth, they look great. The tint is baked on them. I have a machine silver vette and I get compliments from everyone.

Goodluck!

Consider the rigid acrylic overlays from GS creations....quite a few forum members have them...about $100.00, can be removed if required and reinstalled with a new piece of clear VHB tape

those look sweet Blackvette. Did you get yours from mid america also. I think i was only interested in doing the rear tail lights. so you said those will run me about 100 bucks and no problem with them so far. the tint does crack or mess up. do some people actually have a different plastic cover that goes on top do those look better?

Did you take a baseball bat to your dealer for putting their sticker on the rear?

Has anyone heard of or used these guys: http://www.corvette-enhancements.com/c6_service.php

I found them one day when I was looking for something similar, but I never found any information one way or the other -- It is comparatively expensive, but if it does last as long as they say, and the lights are still plenty bright, I was thinking it might be worth it.
