Default GM racing spoiler pics

Installed this weekend. I was a little nervous about drilling 4 holes, but the template was spot on, paint match too.

Default Spoiler

Don't forget to add about 3 or 4 washers to the center 2 bolts so they will extend far enough into the holes to be able to get a nut on.
Nice job, here's how it looks on yellow.

Go to forum vendor "GM parts Direct" click on accessories, put in your year/model, scroll down to racing spoilers . . . about $250 + shipping and are color matched to your vehicle. A nice upgrade for a fairly low price.
Cheers

www.gmpartshouse.com see Gene Culley. He can get them for you in any OEM paint or in primer your choice. I think mine were $281 + shipping in the OEM black - perfect match.

geez dvlray we're gonna have twinkie cars before it's all said and done.. We're going to have to call each other each time we do a new mod, we seem to be doing the exact same stuff haha..

I'm doing the full wide body, you already saw the CCW 550's and I also ordered the full spoiler when I ordered the widebody kit.

I've got borla stingers quad round, and LG Long Tubes, vararam, and plan on doing the ECS novi 2000, and the PAFDT coil-overs with their sways as well in the near future. so now let's hear all your details.

Does the spoiler reduce at all how quickly the back end gets dirty?

I literally can't drive a mile without the backend of my car looking completely filthy. I don't even try to keep the back clean anymore it's so bad. I think it has to do with the aerodynamics and how the air comes off the back of the car. I like the spoiler somewhat, but if it somewhat reduces the potency of the filth-magnet that is also known as the backend of a C6, then I'm game. If it does help, how much would you say it helps? How dirty does the backend of the car get in relative to the rest of the car?

Also, I'm not too crazy about drilling holes in the car. Is there any other way? If you did want to revert back to the way it was before, how would you go about doing it? Would it be expensive? Sorry for all of the questions, but thanks for the help. This forum is awesome.

Default Looks great! I was torn between that and the LED versions

I really wish there was this style of spoiler made by the aftermarket with the larger brake light. I've always thought the OEM brake light is just too small, and the LED versions (like Brite Ideas) just look better balanced to me. So I decided not to get the spoiler. But pics like this just kill me every time!

Hopefully no one comes out with one like this though... I'd have to spend more money, and replace the one I just bought!
