Default 15 spoke GM wheels

Can anyone with the 15 spoke GM wheels on their Vette post a pix? How does the polish compare with the C6 polished and the C5 polished?

I don't own the wheels but here is a photo I took at the C5/C6 bash in Bowling Green at the NCM in April.

I was at Wilson Niblett (Canada's biggest Corvette dealer) a couple of weeks ago and saw a new 07 on the lot with yet another style of rim, it looked a lot like the 7 spoke rims that come on the Cadillac XLR. Must be pretty rare!

Don't have any photos, I got 1 of the first 2 sets Rick had last year, since they are still in their boxes in the storage unit waiting. I will say that when I opened them to check'm out they looked real good. The finish was top quality. But I will admit I'm one of the minority, just do a search for 15 spoke threads, that really like them.

I have seen the same 15 spoke wheel on a Caddy CTS-V and a similar wheel design on some Chrysler same-as-it-ever-was (models all look the same to me). They are not very 3 dimensional and look like hub caps up close

I don't care much for the 15 spoke or those 7 spoke wheels.

Paul-
Was that photo with the 3 side spears taken at the factory or is that an aftermarket add-on?

I keep thinking I want to do screens or something in that cove area, but am not certain how it would look with out Precision Red . . .

Thanks for the pix !

Greetings Rollie,

The side spears were on the GCA (Genuine Corvette Accessories) demo car. They are considering coming to market with the side spears. You can see them mentioned in this slide that was put up by Harlan Charles attached below.

It looks as if (at least for Corvette anyway) that these are only available in chrome:

Is it me or do these wheels look too "Honda" to be on a Corvette?
