Default Finally Got My Vette

After searching the forum and local sites for the right C6 I settled on a new 07 Lemans Blue 1LT C6 with Z51 and MN6. With the current high asking prices for 05 and 06 cars, the recent deal offered by forum dealer Les Stanford was to good to pass up. I flew in yesterday and drove 11 hours home to SC. I have read about the corvette wave here on the forum but as soon as I got onto I-75 a Monterry Red C6 went by waved. Along the way I also was greeted by a C5 and C4 and found myself looking for other corvettes to wave at. Since this is my first vette I wanted to make sure I returned any greeting of fellow vette owners on the road. I didnt realize how much attention this car can draw but I found out during my 720 mile trek home. All I can say is this is a bad bad ride and is probably the most fun you can have with your clothes on. My 1st domestic car purchase and all I can say to GM is job well done on the C6 Corvette; Looks, Value, Performance and Reliability.

It is a beauty! Congrats!

Although mine is MR and was exactly what I wanted, LMB is a classic color and I love it.

Keep on saving the wave.

Nice car and you got the best color! You need to post the url to an particular picture vs a page with pictures... I'd suggest posting them on a Photobucket http://photobucket.com/page then posting a link to the picture... For example here is one of my car... max size 800 x 600 pixels.

...and here's yours...

I got lucky as the car was built 6/6/07 and I purchased it 7/6/07. It didn't sit on the lot very long. Its amazing how the new car smell permeates my entire garage.

I thought I would order factory chrome wheels immediately to replace the gray, but the gray isn't so bad. I see a leaky wallet in my future as I begin to buy stuff for this car.
