What about white stripes?

Don't you ever get any sunshine up there? Totally different color in under the overcast skies.

I have to disagree. I've seen this color in person under a mostly coudy sky. When the clouds are covering the sun, the color produces extra amounts of teal. Teal belongs on late 80's early 90's Camaros and prom dresses. Luckily, it is still a small enough amount of teal to not bother me. In sunlight, the color is almost completely absent of teal and is just a striking blue.
The fact that opinions on this color are so varied is starting to become one of my favorite features of the color.
I agree that these stripes look like they make multiple course corrections and thus look sloppy. I do think that white does appear to be a good color for stipes though. I also think silver would look pretty good. Both colors would look best as metalics with pearl to play along with the tint coat.

I agree totally with this assessment! I think I've seen this color almost as much as the factory workers now! I've gone to the local dealer close to ten times now to look at the Jetstream Blue coupe they've got, and I went to a different dealer this afternoon and they've got one too! It was cloudy out this afternoon when I was there, and you can definitely see a lot more teal in the blue when the skies are darker. Under perfectly sunny skies it definitely looks more blue.
FWIW, the dealer I went to today has a Crystal Red coupe on order that was just built, and they are going to call me when it arrives, so I'll finally get my wish and will get to see this color in person too! I can't wait! I have a feeling Crystal Red is going to be my new favorite color on the 08s.

Everytime I see factory GM stripes, I always get frustrated by the gaps and the misalignment.
You're probably better off picking up a set from Mike at corvettestripes.com. And no, he doesn't pay me

In person, these stripes look perfect...it must be the camera angle.
