Default Corvette has the Same Steering Wheel as the Cobalt.......Absolutely Pathetic!!!

Before 2008, I always thought the C6 interior looked cheap.
OK.....they did a nice job on the new console.

But the steering wheel is still a joke!!!
Do these steering wheels look familiar?

CHEVY COBALT:

SATURN AURA:
The Saturn steering wheel is actually nicer than the one on the Vette.
The cruise control functions are on the left side of the wheel:

The same steering wheel is also used in the Pontiac G6, and other GM cars.
For a $50,000+ car, you would think GM could do a little better.
I feel jipped!!!

I know, I know.....this is one way that they can hold their costs down......and that's fine.
But something a little more exclusive for the Vette would have been nice.
At least they could have replaced that crappy silver plastic trim.

Actually, I dont like the shiny black faux carbon fiber 2008 console (that show all fingerprints) with the white stitching and think my 2007 looks better. But I dont think the 08 or 07 interiors look cheap...they look OK, they just use cheap materials!!

Not mine,I have an 05!!!

Dont kid yourself, the 07/08 wheel looks much better than the '05!
Though not MOMO's for 05-08 for sure!

The steering wheel is nice IMO. It's how they keep costs down, and why you can get 200k performance for 50k.

A good trade-off if you ask me!

I think that you should demand a new & improved steering wheel, or get your money back and buy another car with a better steering wheel.

The steering wheel is not bad IMO. The Vette wheel does have the Bow-tie. Better call your Doctor!

Looks ok to me!!At least it's a rather unique 1 year only wheel! Not that it matters,in the grand scheme of things but at least I won't see it in a COBALT!
