Anyone using these clear door sill protectors?

Only experience I've had with that type is on my C5s. They worked well in protecting the sill but wound up tearing the weather stripping on the bottom of the door. Hopefully they got the kinks out with the C6 variety.
(However my wife said they remind her of her Aunts living room with all the furniture covered in plastic so it wouldn't get dirty... )

I like them. Even though I'm beyond careful, it would be great for everyday and for the occasional passenger who could give a crap for your effort to keep new. And sounds like you could remove for the "show moments" as well.

Been using them for a year now. Not a problem. I hace then over the brushed alum. sills. They stay in place and lift right off when need be. Tip: Take them off when you wash the car. Makes wiping the sills easier. Water will get underneath.

I use them as well, and I have tan carpet. Frankly, the tan trim pieces get dirty/scuffed to easily to NOT use them. They work well, but water does collect under them when you wash the car - you need to clean them off as well.

This is the first aftermarket thing I put on my C6. When getting in or out of my car where I can't open the door wide, like in my garage or parked next to someone at work, I tend to drag my feet over the sill. This takes the brunt of it from shoes that may have gravel or dirt on them.

Excellent item. I used them on my C5, and had them with me for the C6 when I picked it up. Good advice to remove them while washing.

I have them on my C6. I highly recommend them. My plastic sill covers are all stratched from getting in and out of the car. All those scratches on my plastic covers would have been on the car.

Very happy with mine from Ecklers. They save the paint etc. In fact, when my clear sills get scratched, its very easy getting the scatches out and making them look like new again, rather than paying Ecklers more money! For the ****:

I have had them since I got the car. They work great and they pop right off in seconds. No issues with the door closing at all. I got mine from Corvettes of Houston, but several places sell them.

Same here. Had them for about 1 year. Some scratches on the protectors but my sills are as good as new. You just have to remove them after you wash the car to dry them off underneath. Best mod I have made next to the mudflap protectors I got from Pipedreams.
