A set of wider fenders makes it a fake? No way...not even close.
Wider fenders on a Corvette has been a popular mod for decades. The C6 Z06 parts just make it an easy and good looking bolt-on.
Just wait until GM makes the widebody a factory option... woohoo!

I'm gonna be honest...I do slightly consider it a "fake" Z06 when it has the widebody kit. My reasoning for this is that its a C6 trying to be the C6Z and I don't like changing cars into different models. Now I am considering the widebody kit but I'm considering the one from Carravagio so it isn't styled like the Z but still has wider fenders
Thats just my 2 cents but changing a car to something it isn't seems "fake" to me.

(Don't take it the wrong way though they look good...just not for me)
Also don't get me started on C6Z rims on C6s granted they look good but it isn't factory and you're making the car into something it isn't
Here is a picture I found giving an example of Caravaggio's widebody kit

only if you try to pass it off as a Z06. maybe i want larger rear wheels/tires but don't want them hanging out the sides what to do? widebody kit problem solved. bosco

If you own a widebody I expect your answer would be NO. If you own a Z06 I'd expect your answer would be YES.
I own neither...just a little ole regular 05 coupe. I think a widebody is an appearance clone of the Z06. Add badges and it's a full on poser clone. Bad form IMO ,......really bad form.

If GM could program it, it would be an option, but then again, they make more by selling the parts!
