Ive made a huge mistake...
I never should have sold it. I really thought about it for months... Sell the corvette, get a fast 4 door car. But I tell you what, I cant find any I like. Looked at E55's, CTS-V's M5... But I dont even get 1/10th the joy I get from my Vette....... WTF am I to do?

My wife warned me... "Selling your vette does not mean you can get a Z06 anytime soon"
Maybe next year...
I like the M3, just not the 4 door body style, and If I was to buy a fast passenger car, it would have to be a 4 door. (I got 3 kids)

I feel your pain...at least until last weekend. I sold my 2004 so my wife could get the house she wanted. Yes, without her I would live in a doublewide trailer with a nice attached 4-car garage. Anyway, I had been in tears since I sold it. I have bugged my wife for the last 2 years for a new one. She finally broke. I feel like a completely different person. It is an addiction, a horrible drug. I just needed a convertible and now I am all

For crying out loud guys what is with this " begging the wife, or the wife says " crap? Are you making the money that will pay for this car ? If all you financial ducks are in a row what is stopping you ? Permission ? Screw that ! Go out and buy the damn thing she will get over it. ! I was supposed to quit buying Corvettes with the '92 according to the wife. That was two Corvettes ago ! She knows not to tell me what I can and can not do now. If you are a good husband and provider and what in the hell are you waiting for ? Sorry for the rant but I couldn't take it anymore.

No car can match the Corvettes Ensemble .It is America at it's best.
I have Lexus's, they are nice and quite fast, but not a wart on a pig's tail compared to the Luscious Corvette!
Even my Lexus dealer complimented me on my choice!

Your wife needs to loosen up maybe. 
My wife called my '00 a Pu$$y Mobile.... But she also knew how much a Corvette meant to me. She is no longer on this Earth, but how she would love to be with me with the roof out and sporting around The LakeFront on a pleasant sunny day. Everywhere we would go, people would wave and tell us how nice our car was! My new license plate , and my first personalized one, "MRSDOLL" in memory of my most wonderful wife of 25 years.

I never understood this "honey please" thing either. I bust my butt for my money, support my share of the family responsibilities and if I want a Vette or a boat I'll have one. My wife never has a problem with this.

I put the G35 up for sale only after 3 months of ownership. Sold it 3 months later and ordered an 08 C6 coupe... Couldn't be happier and won't do that again!
