What is the largest tire that will fit properly on a C6 stock wheel (front and back).

thats a good question, and i know its been answered on here before because it caught my eye.they included pictures of the tires on the vette. go to search window and figure the right question to ask is the hard part. ive read where tire rack gives you the answer on their web site.

I think that OP question should be rephrased to what are the largest tire which will be safe to drive on be mounted onto the factory wheels.

Again we should be thinking safety as the car can generate a g-force into a turn and the tires need to be within the specs of the wheel to be safe.

I did think about safety - anyone that spends this kind of money on a vette should have safety in mind all of the time. As I have heard throughout my career - safety is no accident - you have to plan on safety all of the time. Good catch.

The tire tread width should not be wider than the rim width.
