I really don't like the look of the automatic shifter **** on my 05 coupe. is there replacement for them?

ps I know its unfortunate that i have an automatic transmission but its seattle, traffic sucks here.

They do sell an adapter for the 05 only since the 05 shifter is actually from the C5. Problem is it makes it stick up much higher. I am looking into the 06 and up

Any chance of replacing the 05 auto **** with the 06+ auto gear *****..!? if so, any modifications required, and where can I buy one from..?

Strange comment. Why be defense about choosing an auto transmission? Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Try just changing the silver cap, you can get it painted to match or APSIS has a carbon fiber one.

I can't believe the General will not build a Z car with an automatic. Was at the dealer not long ago for a state inspection. Owner invited me to drive a AO Z06. I sat in it and worked the shifter and it was very nice I must admit. After much gnashing of teeth I still prefer an automatic. Just MHO.

you know I just bought my first Corvette,CRM A6 with all the goodies. I drove the stick and I felt 20 again, however,I elected to get the automatic. It works well for my kind of driving. I personallly think it's the best of both worlds. My car (CRM) won't be home until march 15th and I really can't wait. This is just crazy, I'm like a kid at Xmas waiting for his(or her's ) first bicycle. Are we all just kids at heart?
