I prefer the Southern California duster.

Gives you a warmer, more care-free look.

I agree. When new, mine left some wax streaks. But now that it's broken in, it works great.

I have one and rarely use it. How do you de-dust it (clean it)?

You don't. The dirtier it is the better it works, so they say. I also hear washing in Woollite works if it get really disgusting...

Haven't found one that's better than the original. As others pointed out...for best performance, don't clean it, periodically shake it out.

California dusters are great including the small one for interior use. They save on the car washes.

For every new car I buy it get its own Original California Duster. I haven't found a better one yet and like they say, the more you use it the better it gets.

Using the duster, insure you don't ever rub it hard on the paint to get heavy dust off. Doing so will scratch that dust/dirt onto the paint. If its that dirty, then its wash time anyway. I'm a long time user of the Calif. Dust Brush and on my '99, I started seeing lots of small scratches on the rear deck lid and rear top bumper as its always the first place that I wipe. It was obvious that I was the cause, so the rule is, do it lightly or wash it! The brushes do eventually fill up and for $10, throw it away and buy a new one.

the original is the only way to go. A must have with a vette especially black.

I've been using the same one for over ten years and 3 different cars!
