Tell me Exactly the easiest way to change your own oil....
I have done oil changes in the past....in my ford mustang. So what is the easiest way, without having to use a jack to jack up the the car from one corner. And is there a difference changing oil in a Z 51 vette, like is there something extra i have to do to get the oil from the oil cooler to the drain. Thanks for the info. How many quarts of oil? what is the AC filter number? where is the oil filter?

Jack it
Jack stand it
Put pan under
Loosen bolt
Dump oil
Un-do Oil Filter
Replace with new
Put bolt on
Dump new oil in
6 QT
Mobile one
check oil level
Remove jack stands
Jack down.

Here is the easiest way:
Unless you have a REALLY low-profile drain pan, you'll need to get some height on the car. I built two ramps made of wood that lift the car about 4 inches. I back up onto these ramps and that usually gives me enough room to fit the drain-pan under the oilpan. If you're a heavier guy, you might have problems with this, but I can usually fit underneath it far enough to reach the oil filter and loosen it with a filter wrench. It's a tight fit, but I usually can pull it off. For the plug, I use a wratchet wrench with like 2 feet of extensions.
A different way would be to jack up the drivers side from the rear-jacking puck location. It should give you enough clearance to get to it and you don't have to worry about ramps. You may need to use a low-profile jack and the jacking pucks to do this. The only problem is this angle will cause some oil to flow to the passenger side of the oil-pan and you won't drain as much oil if you do it this way.

oil change
Easiest oil to change in the vette. Wallmart 5 qt. container of Mobil 1 plus one extra qt.
I back the vette out of the garage and make sure the front driver's wheel is on top of two 2"10" boards (2 foot long). Turn wheels left.
Then slip a large piece of plastic under the oil pan in case of a drip or spill.
Put a low profile plastic pan under the oil pan drain hole (wallmart).
Using several socket extensions (longer the better), reach in from the driver's side and undo the drain plug. Remove it. Let oil drain. Put drain plug back in and tighten. Remove filter and drop it into the drain pan. Re-install new filter (coating gasket with oil first). Tighten by hand then one full turn with a socket type filter wrench that grips the whole 3" filter.
Done. Put oil back into the Mobile one 5 qt. container and dispose properly.
Actual work time is about 3 minutes. Just have to wait for oil to stop dripping 10 minutes.
Rediculous easy.

Can I assume you are a very skinny man with unusually long arms and muscles like Spinmonster?
The easiest way to do it without jacking it up is to drive it to Jiffy Lube over their pit and change it yourself. If that is not possible, then one jack in the corner is about as easy as it is going to get.
