C6 rocking drivers seat

I concur with another poster - check the bolts first and make certain they are tight. The other solution is more difficult ...

Since you asked, I notice a slight rock or shift on mine, generally only noticable on hard deceleration. It hasn't bothered me enough to look into it. Sounds like I should stop being lazy and check the seat track bolts...

195 lbs and it just started a few weeks ago. I only feel it on heavy acceleration and when I push back in my seat. My lazy **** needs to get down and check the bolts. Been messing with my Silverado SS and new quads as of late so the C6 has taken a back seat.

Yes, I had it in my 05. Dealer fixed it under warrenty. They had to replace the entire seat base, track, electrical motors, everything except the upolistery. It comes as one piece bolt in assembly.
Be careful, they scratched my door jams, (which I fixed) but the seat is now rock solid.

If they are using the same seat tracks that they used in the C5, there are plastic gears inside that are doomed to fail sooner or later. They often last just long enough to get you out of warranty. The gear teeth chip or break, the seats then start to rock, and GM then sticks their hand out for about $1,200 a pop for replacement.

Yes
Had that happen on my 2005. Dealer fixed it under warranty. But, when I picked it up there was something wrong (can't remember exactly what it was) and they had to use the Tech II to re-set the computer? That is probably part of the repair.
