Bilstien Shocks

I think so, yes. I have had them as a replacement for every shock that has ever gone bad on a car of mine. They made a big difference in the handling on my 74 Trans Am, and they have now been on it for more than 20 years...still work perfectly. So the extra money you spend for them is OK because they don't seem to ever wear out. I will eventually put them on my vert!

I had read that they helped with wheel hop at the track (dragstrip obviously) so I purchased some. Yes, they did help with 80% of wheel hop. I had thought though the ride would become rougher on the street but it did not. Actually, IMO, improved the ride comfort. I bought them from a forum member, slightly used (less than a thousand miles) and for what I paid, definitely worth it.

IMO, absolutely. I replaced mine about 5K miles ago. Nothing but smiles from the improved handling.
If you decide to change shocks, make sure you do a baseline comparison- find some good dips, or one of those expansion joints on a freeway near you.
The ones that make a big bump, or loud noise when you cross at ~70MPH. Then, put the Billies on, and take the same route.
