Asked many times but - Best anti swirl wax for black paint
I know many have asked and I use Zaino, but what is the BEST wax to take out and prevent swirls in black paint?

The best stuff used to be Liquid Ebony, but I haven't seen a bottle of it anywhere in more than 15 years. Griot's Garage (http://www.griotsgarage.com) has four machine polishes:
#1 For deep scratches & swirl marks
#2 For mild oxidation & light scratches
#3 For very light scratches & swirl marks
#4 Removes very fine scratches and swirl marks
If doing an entire vehicle, use these with Griot's Professional Random Orbital machine and orange foam pad. For single panels like a door or fender you can use old & super soft cotton diapers.
Then apply 2-3 coats of Zaino.

Ditto on the Black Ebony, this stuff was great for removing or hiding swirl marks on a black car. You might try on line to see if it is still around.

I'm not too crazy about the Zaino swirl remover so I usually use something else (rejex won't remove swirls either). Paint prep is extremely important when using all polishes.

I've got a full quart bottle labeled "liquid ebony" and a number "27".
Is this the same product you're talking about? Made by Cleanbright

I've used 3M fill in glaze in the past. It's a pink non abraisive semi watery liquid. It worked great.
You can still most likely get it at a automotive paint supply store. Hopeflly they stil have it,

My boss wants to wax my car for me. He uses liquid glass though. Ive seen another buddies black expedition which had been liquid glassed, and it was amazing for a 11 y/o suv.

I just had a professional detailer come and take the swirl marks out of my C6 black vert. He used Optima which is available at Autogeek. He applied it with a random orbital polisher.
To see pics, go to Peachstate Posse website under autodetailer and black C6.
