Default NooB question regarding "Corvette Forums Terminology" FAQ?

Hey Guys!

I've been banging my head against the proverbial wall this evening trying to get up to speed on all the forum specific acronyms and terminology. I've read the FAQ sticky, as well as most, if not all, of the links associated. I searched for a thread that might list them all, but came up empty.

It might be the NooB in me that's preventing me from finding what I'm looking for, or it might just not exist. If it's the latter I was wondering if you guys wouldn't mind helping me build up a "Corvette Forum Terminology" list that we can have linked to the FAQ.

Anyone interested in helping flesh this out?

A few more that threw me when I first started reading these boards:

WOT = Wide Open Throttle (I think)
NPP = Dual Mode Exhaust

(F55 is indeed Magnetic Select Ride Control)

I think this list is a great idea. Maybe there's one somewhere but I couldn't find it either).

Cheers,

This may be overkill, but here it is. BTW, NPP doesn't really stand for anything, it's just the RPO code for the dual mode exhaust.

It is. FRC has a triple meaning in the Corvette world. Fuel rail cover is one of them, fixed roof coupe is the another. Flying Roof Club is the third and one that you don't ever want to see.

It's not my list . but this would be a lot more useful if you separated the standard chat and msg board slang (eg, WTF, IANAL, etc) from the Corvette specific stuff.

CAI = Cold Air Intake

Most of the acronyms listed are web acronyms, not car acronyms.
