I am in the process of purchasing an 06 3LT from a forum member and need to import into Canada.

One thing I was wondering if anyone could tell me is if the HUD has KM/hr or if the onboard computer can display KM/hr.

Secondly has anyone ever swithched the gauges over to KM hr?

Check your owner's manual. This is what mine says.......

Display Units: This option allows you to choose
the measurement units.
Press the OPTION button until DISPLAY UNITS
appears on the display, then press the RESET button to
scroll through the following modes:
• ENGLISH (default)
• METRIC
If you choose ENGLISH, all information will be displayed
in English units.
If you choose METRIC, all information will be displayed
in metric units.
When the mode you want is selected, press the
OPTION button to set your choice and advance to the
next personal option.

A limitation is that the analog speedometer will only work up to 200km/h (125m/h).

Yep and it workds fine. Don't know about the HUD, but I don't see why it wouldn't. If I flip my car into Metric, in addition to the speedo, the degrees on the A/C unit change from F to C. If they did that, I don't see why the HUD wouldn't switch.

I switched when I took my car to Germany last year. The speedo only reads to 200kph, but the HUD shows the correct speed ( I've seen almost 300kph on the hud).
It's easy.

yes i live in canada and switch it back and fourth all the time run metric around town but switch it over to imperial when i get out on the highwway and want to Dance
