Default rear end chatter fix and warranty
Hello,

Would the current service bulletin/fix be covered (free) under the five year powertrain warranty after the 3yr bumper-to-bumper has expired?

I believe this would be part of the 5 year powertrain warranty..

Rear end is certainly part of the powertrain....I can't imagine that it wouldn't be covered...

Yes, unless you've modified your powertrain in any fashion. If so, it won't be covered unless the dealership lies to GM about it.
