Default Pics Of Brand New Rims done by VQ Motoring

It's Official !! Rickie at www.VQmotoring.com did it agian! So I had a problem... I am planning a move to NJ in a few months and the Ruff Racing rims (r281) I had on 2007 my C6 looked great... but the rear rim was sticking out and rubbing my fender everytime I hit a bump. So after weeks of research on different rims, I finally called Rickie at VQMotoring and asked his professional opinion.... How do I fix the rubbing issue with the rims I have and love? He broke it down for me and explained that the R281 is not available in the offset that I needed to get the RIGHT look so I could lower my car further than just on the stock bolts. He said that I needed to swap out the set or R281 I had and get a set of Ruff R931.... So after a little negotiating... He HOOKED it up... I bought the new set-up F-19x8.5 R- 20x10 Chrome with black inserts and then he reccomended that instead of getting the Potenza RE050 again which had a wide side wall, that I go with the Nankang 275 30 20 in the rear that have almost like a shaved sidewall look that fits PERFECTLY into the fender. Here are some photos at the shop today and I will have better pics once the rain ends here.... If you are looking for a different rim/tire setup and/or have questions Rickie and the team at www.VQMotoring.com is the ONLY place to call at (877) 877-9420 !!!

Damn!! I think it looks pretty good. These definatly fit your car better and look awesome. Love the way the inserts match the top top of the car.

Thanks for the great write up and we are here for whatever you need.

Thanks again,

Those wheels look awesome. Great to deal with someone that knows what they are doing and are willing to work with you on problems.

did they have to add spacers to the front and rings on the back like the old 280 wheels?

Yep, they all use hubcentric rings and we sell them for $990 shipped. Yes they do require 3mm front spacers but there rears were even shaved 3mm.

Nice wheels.

Of course, parking in a Handicapped spot for picture taking could have caused you some grief!

they might stick out a hair but you cannot find a lip on rim like this for the price ANYWHERE...

Very nice. I don't like a lot of aftermarket rims I see, but those look nice and make a nice match with your vehicle.

Both the vette and the Hummer are parked in Handicapped spots. The wheels look good! But I would hate to see your vette being towed down the road on the back of a tow-truck.... The car looks awesome, good choice in wheels...

Thats the first time I heard of someone going with a narrower tire than stock in the rear. And it still sticks out!
