Installing them is a major pain. Threw mine in the trash years ago and bought factory parts, piece if cake!

These are Electro polished that match the front grille and rear. Do not know why they are so difficult to install. I printed the instructions off racemes site and will take it to him tomorrow.

I have the RM front grille and it matches my factory pretty well. Unless RM has changed the install method they must be caulked in with silicone or adhesive. For me it was impossible to do a good job.

Where did you get the factory fender grilles?

If they are the regular polished GM Parts House has the factory parts at best price. A warning though, they're kind if pricey.

If these are just flat screen panels that are glued to the back side of the "gills", this technique of holding them in place while the glue sets up may work. Rolled up shop towels and nylon cable ties.

I have RaceMesh polished stainless grilles on the front and sides of my car (ZR1 fenders) and I like the way they look. I had GM Accessories side grilles on the base fenders and nose.

They all have their own idiosyncrasies/degree of difficulty in installation.

Good Luck.

The mechanic at the dealership attached bongie cords (tie downs) to the inserts and attached them to the car lift pole and left them in place overnight to dry.

I didn't realize at the time he had a GS, my reading skills sometimes tank. GM has them for the base and Z06 so I would assume they are available for the GS and ZR1.

The OEM grilles are very nice and easily fitted, and use the inner fender push pins to keep the grills in place. I added some gorilla tape to the front to keep the grills tight to the opening.
The OP grills look very nice
