Default Microfiber or Real Leather Chamois

I have always used a real leather chamois on all my cars but they sometimes get old and start leaving skin pieces. I just wanted to get a poll on which one is used more. I might try a microfiber when my current chamois wears out.

Of course, you realize a microfiber 'wipe' is a towel, not a chamois?

Anyway, until a few years ago, I always used a chamois, but I'll never go back now. The towels work better and are less expensive.

I use leather chamois for drying after washing . Ive tried several micro-fiber towels, but they always seem to leave streaks.

I do use the micro-fiber towels with detailing sprays for in-between washes with great results.

I use a leaf blower to blow most of the water off, and then use microfiber towels to dry the rest.

I use one made for drying to dry the car and one made for buffing/ waxing with detailer to remove any streaks... I've thrown away plenty of leather chamois'... Microfiber is cheaper/ last much longer.

Nothing beats the leaf blower for drying the car and nothing beats microfiber for washing the windows.

The only way to go but I do not use microfiber. Any wipe still makes contact with the paint.

I sheet the water first then follow up with an electric leaf blower. I get the last drops with a Waffle Weave and some QD to lubricatee it.

None of the above this is the only 100% safe way to dry your car BLOW IT DRY

If you think a leaf blower is good you must see this, if you are using a water blade or any type of chamois your putting scratches on your car plain and simple

I use the Absorber brand towel which soaks-up 95% of the water and follow that with a clean 100% cotton towel. I haven't advanced to blow-drying yet...either my car or my hair.
