Lingenfelter 402/Wide-Body... Bye Bye $30k
I've decided to go nuts.
In two weeks I plan to fly/rental car/drive to Decatur, IN to visit LPE (Lingenfelter Performance) and visit with Tim about my C6 project.
I plan to have them do the Wide Body conversion for me (as some of you know, I've been longing for this look for quite some time) plus have them do their 402 CID kit on my car (525hp / 525 lbs-ft torque) sometime this winter.
I will definately also add their Velocity Yellow gauges package to my interior (Sa-Weet!) along with their VY Rail covers for the engine.
Here's the part I need help with.... Should I get their Lingenfelter "rear" or stick with the Wide Body (Z06) rear?
Here's a Car & Driver review of the 402 package --> Car & Driver Review of 402
I would really like for opinions, expert advice, amateur advice, and idiot criticism!

Oh, one more thing:
Wheel recommendations (wide body) plus tire recommendations (non hiway use so no need for run flats).
Thanks!

I think you should go with the Lingenfelter rear and some 360 wheels with PS2's.
Yes, I'll be envious, but I'll be looking forward to the pics and video (hint, hint)!

I like chrome, but what about black w/ a VY ring? That could be hot.
I've decided to just go nuts. It's only money.
And "YES" i've thought about just the Wide body on the rear. What a deal. Only $3k!!! Big savings that way.

Awesome...
we want pix when done..
Also, why tub the car when you can do the WIDEBODY...unless your going stealth....
As far as wheels go, CCW, 360 or HRE would be my top 3. CCW is the most reasonable of them and One piece.
I am running 345s 19x13 CCWs

Oh CRAP!! That sound good to Buzz. I'm familiar with both. Do them make 'em in Chrome? I thought they were both just polished.

CCW's as far as I know are polished, I know HRE's are polished but the finish can be made to look like chrome. To me the HRE's are the top of the line. Also 360 forged can custom make you your wheels, however you must avoid pot holes as they all dent easily.
If you want to be different take a look at Savini wheels.

I would go with the Lingenfelter rear as for wheels I would have to go with black versus chrome kind of give it that I mean business look, then it sounds mean, runs mean, and looks mean.
