Default Apsis' ZR1 Spoiler for C6/Z06

Hi Guys,

We just got the ZR1 full length spoiler from GM and we will duplicate this spoiler to fit for C6 & Z06.

Here are some of the comments that we like to share with members.

1. We confirm this ZR1 spoiler can fit for C6 but we find out there are some noticeable gaps near the right & left side of the existing 3rd brake light area. If you just mount the way it is, then the water will leak to your trunk.

2. If you want to use GM's ZR1 spoiler to mount to your C6 or Z06, you will have to drill 6 holes for installation. (the center 4 screws for the 3rd light will reuse the existing holes, but you have to drill additional 6 holes)

3. We want to modify it for NO DRILLING INSTALLATION. We know most Corvette owners don't like to drill holes if you have the choice.

We will also offer option if you still prefer drilling. In other word, you can go either way.

4. We will offer both Black Raw Parts or Carbon Parts. For Raw Parts, you can paint it by yourself. If you are the carbon lover, then this will be a very nice pc for carbon.

5. Since we will offer the ZR1 Front Splitter, Side Skirt, so you can combine this ZR1 Spoiler as nice package.

For the carbon lovers, you can combine our Carbon A-Pillar Frame, Carbon Halo, Carbon Windshield Cowl, Carbon ZR1 Style Front Splitter, Carbon ZR1 Side Skirts & Carbon ZR1 Spoiler as a very beautiful package.

6. It will take us about 8-10 weeks to make the mold. Hopefully by end of this year we will be able to start to ship all these items.

Here are the pictures that we mount to our own C6----------

Looking forward to seeing the complete product. My preference would be to not drill.

That is definitely a good idea

What do you mean by #1? Why doesn't that affect the Z06, thought all Corvettes (Base, Z06, ZR1) used the same rear bumper.

We don't have Z06 so we cannot mount it to confirm it. I would guess it should be the same for Z06.

Jersey put me on your list for one as soon as you get them. I know this will be another one of great quality. Would also like to see if it is possible to make it for the 39 Led brake light is that doable or not? What is a guess for a price?

I ordered the TKO CF Z06 spoiler...this one sounds cool and can't wait to see it. Maybe I'll get a new one for Christmas.

+1

I also like the idea of not drilling add'l holes...will it be made of 'glass or urethane? Will the gaps be fixed?

Thanks DDuke.

The material is still undecided yet, could be formed PU for light weight or fiber resin.

Yes, the gap will be fixed. We will go to local dealer to try on more vehicles so we can come to conclusion if this gap is an isolate case or common case. We will also try on Z06 to confirm it before we go for mold making. We will post more update later.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the strong interest in this ZR1 spoiler.

If you want to be on the waiting list, please email your info & credit card info w/phone no to apsisusa@aol.com or call toll free 1-800-68APSIS (6827747) so we can set up an accont for you. We won't charge you till the parts are ready to ship.

Right now we don't have price yet. If you are on the list you will get the early allocation. The earlier you sign in the higher priority is your allocation. If we have price change due to whatever the reason, you will always get the lowest price.
