Solution needed: I hate scraping the front spoiler.
I am looking for a simple solution for now until I have my rail savers installed. I am looking for a solution to the scarping issue. I know that backing into the driveway, and going on an angle stops most scraping, but it does not help me. No matter what I do it still scrapes the front spoiler.
While I do know this is supposed to happen and that I can always keep replacing the front spoiler, I find it annoying. I can live with it, but I just want to find a solution to this problem.
I was considering, putting a piece of wood and flattening the front of the wooden plank a little bit, so I can just ride over it like a ramp.
I was also trying to google search and forum search for a piece of metal or steel that will allow me to use it as a ramp to get on the driveway. If anyone has a link for any of these two solutions please feel free to post a link. I live near a Lowe's and a Home Depot so I can fix this issue today with anyones advice.
Not to go off topic, but I love this car. I picked it up yesterday and I cannot stop smiling. Once again thank you all for your help in advance.

I can sympathize with you all the way. It seems the C6 must be lower than the C5 - I never had this issue before. I can't imagine how some of these guys actually lower it even further. They must have very flat roads in their neighborhood.
I wish I could raise mine - just an inch.

Please tell us that's photoshopped, "foreshortened," or somehow not an accurate depiction of the slope of those driveways...please.
Yikes!
Those garages are unusable by anything less that a Hummer or a high rider truck. (They'll scrape at the top, too.)
Peace, out.

That can't be real - If so, I'm assuming there's no ice or snow in that part of the country.

The flexible front spoiler is meant to be bent and scraped. So don't sweat it. It's designed to do exactly that. If you are scraping the bottom of your front facia (which many of us have done) that's not too great. My driveway allowed my front facia to scrape and I solved that problem with a pair of skid plate wheels from West Coast Corvettes.
