Assuming you can comfortably afford any of them...the best 'value' is the one you want the most.

I'd give some consideration to how you intend to use the car but I realize most Corvette owners never venture onto a race track. IMO if you're just a pleasure driver the best monetary "value" would be the C6.

With 436 HP (NPP Exhaust option) a stock '08-'09 coupe is a great value. Unless you plan to autocross or enter various track events the ZO6 might be a little overkill. For everyday use the standard suspension is fine but the Z51 package is nice if you plan to do a lot of "spirited" driving. As for the ZR1, that's a whole different level. Hope this helps.

IMHO a used '06-07 ZO6 is currently at a price level at I may consider selling my Porsche and pick one up.

C6 1LT w/MN6, Z51, & NPP is the best value....but (if you can afford it) a 2LZ Z06 w/Nav and Chrome Shoes is the hottest and a close 2nd for the loot. A ZR1 is totally out of the question.
