I think the forum should have a poll where we could vote for the dumbest post of the week.

I'll be 70 on what used to be January Super Bowl weekend, when everybody partied for us late January birthday folks, whether they knew it or not, but the NFL moved SB to February a few years ago.
GETTING IN:
Open door.
Lower butt into seat.
Fold walker legs.
Lift walker onto lap.
Remove two wheeled walker legs.
Place wheeled walker legs on passenger side floor.
Collapse remaining two walker legs.
Place walker on passenger side floor with top side down.
Swing legs (mine, 6'-3", 170, 36" inseam, 14 shoes), right then left, into car.
Close door.
Lock door.
Insert Glock-30 magazine, chamber one 45ACP.
Start button.
Smile.
Go.
With a passenger, walker goes into the back hatch, either over my shoulder or thru the hatch.
Life is good, so far. Just bought a 7-year GMPP Major Guard, for the next guy, most likely.

I think everyone should be allowed to drive their age as a speed limit. Then getting old would really be exciting!!!!!

LOL my way would be scoffed at by most Corvette people as I touch the paint to get in and out. But the 1 foot method doesn't work when you only have 1 foot lol. Anyways I open the door. with my left hand I guid myself gently down into the seat then pull my legs in. Getting out put both legs out. Left hand helps push up on the seat while the right usually goes for the a pillar.

hey neighbor! well, I guess there are many ways, but the easiest for me is to back into it and then swing my legs around. sometimes I put my foot in first.
getting out, I make sure to push up on the door sill using it as leverage with two legs out.
whatever you do just remember there are those little seat bolsters that supposedly wear out real fast if you keep sliding over them . I'm sure it happens to some, but hasn't happened to me in any of the Vettes I've owned.

In all seriousness, it helps a lot if you park in such a way as to be able to fully open the door so your feet don't have to be tucked in as tight to clear the door bottom. Also, rolling down the window helps with dropping down into the car too.

Solved the seat and wife problem!
I have power seats (3LT) so it simplifies getting out of the C6. Do the following:
1. Move the seat to the rear as far as it will go,
2. Move the seat up as high as possible (this is the key),
3. Move steering wheel as far forward as possible and tilt up, and
4. Lean forward and roll out of the car.
My wife always complained about how hard to get out but would not let me change seat position (you know how they are). I changed the seat without her knowing it and she hasn't complained about it since, I eventually tip her off on what I had done and it doesn't bother her anymore and she likes it.
In the end, you can save the setting in the computer except for the tilt position when you open the door and get out.
