Default Visor airbag sticker removal--help

I have just removed one of the airbag stickers that is affixed to both windshield visors on my new 08 Corvette. Now, however, I have the white qlue-type substance on my visor where the airbag sticker was.

Do any members have any advise as to what I should use to get the glue residue off my visor?

Your expert advise would be greatly appriciated.

goo-gone extreme (at home depot), a toothbrush with the bristles trimmed short, a bed sheet to catch the debris, and a few minutes work on each one. it'll be 99% gone and 100% gone in a few of months.

Cleaning fluid should work. I think you can still buy small bottles in hardware stores. I have a gallon can of Upholstery Cleaner (it's basically the same stuff used at dry cleaners), and works great, but like any solvent try it first in an area you can't see.

Be sure and come back and give us a detail on how it turned out. I am thinking of removing mine too and want to know what to expect.

I didn't want to have the problems you are having and chose this route http://rpidesigns.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1019 If you can't get the glue off it should work for you.

My wife took it upon herself to make two patches and sewed them over the stickers. Even put a little pocket in them to allow for storage of cards, etc. Now she wants to ride in it to admire her handy work
