Default need help. suffering from withdrawl

its only been 1 week since i put my vert. to sleep for the winter and im suffering from withdraw. i walked past her tonight and i couldn't resist lifting her cover to take a peek at her. i felt like i had violated her. she didn't resist, nor did she scream out. if i could just get back inside her and touch her controls. whew... what a bad dream that was.

move to Fla.

LOL

I wish i could move to southern Nevada ....someplace where winter is history...

at least i can drive mine on and off during the winter here in VA. if it snows... i wait untill we get some good rain to wash the road treatment away... stay off the main roads to avoid rock throwing tires...and drive it a little... sucks... i know.

50+ degrees here in Chicago today and got home at 4:30, getting dark, but I jumped in the car. Paddled shifted my way to the watering hole and then White Castle (made the wife hold them outside of the car so as to not permeate the interior with the smell...kidding) and loved every moment. I will keep driving until conditions stop me. Not ready to put it away quite yet.

Dude you put your ride away much to early. It's going to be 65 degrees here tomorrow. There will be plenty of times during the winter when the roads will be clear and dry. What are you saving your vette for...the next owner? Life is to short. Drive that puppy like you stole it!

I guess hard rain doesn't count, but soon enough it could get (will get) pretty darned messy to take the car out. I understand what you're saying. Sooooo, is Florida in the cards some day?

It's not snowing yet and there is no salt on the roads. What are you waiting for?

I don't put mine away. There are days between weather events to drive them regardless of where one lives.

i agree with what your saying, i just find it easier to put her away for the winter, and she will be all clean and ready to go come spring, she will be 2 yrs old 2/09 with only 3800 miles on her, garage queen, yes, but mine.....
