How long to swap out brakes?
I just got my new red powdercoated brakes in and wondered how long it should take a competent shop to swap them out?

I did mine a few weeks ago. I dont wrench on my car that often and its been 20 years since I had changed a caliper. It took me about 3.5hours start to finish and that included bleeding the brakes and redoing one of the rear calipers because I had put it on the wrong side. I'm sure that if I had to do it again I could do it in 2 hours without a problem.

...take your time, allow an afternoon. If yo have speed-bleeders, it will make the brake bleeding process go much easier/faster.

I used a Motive Power bleeder, very simple. I was going to put Speed Bleeders on but I read a lot of things about them leaking.
