I was at a stand still. The C6 is a well built car that saved my life. She was in a 98 mercedes tank. I am lucky to walk away!!

The left frame rail was bent like an soda can across from the transmission. The rear wheel is bent forward towards the quarter panel.

OHHHHHH NOOOOOOO

That really sucks. Are they considering it totaled??? With $34,000 of damage Im thinking they will.

The good thing is no one was seriously hurt. I've seen accidents where the cars were going slower and there were injuries. Goes to show how well the Corvettes are made and how safe they are.

Hope everything goes well

I am so sorry. I know how you feel, as my vette was totaled by a truck driver running a red light. I walked away with minor injuries.

Please get a lawyer and see a doctor. You only have one body and that was a huge impact.....unless you are all vette parts!

Good Luck!

Wow the C6 is really made well to have you walk away with no serious issues and good luck with the new Vette and take off as much of your Bling as you can

Dang I hope you're okay. I would think with that much damage the insurance Co will total it out. I hope everything works out for you and you get what you want.

I was just rear ended last night but I thank God I was not in my Vette, I was driving my SUV. What happen was I was stopped at a light another car stopped behind me. I then hear a big crash then I hear/feel me getting hit and pushed a few feet.

I get out and look at my damage not too bad, but the car behind me had a BIG imprint of my bumper on her front bumper. So I gather the car behind her was going pretty fast.

I feel if I was in the Vette it would be history worse than totaled.

The funny thing about the accident was I was in a Ford Expedition the car behind me was a Ford Mustang and behind her a Ford Expedition. What's the deal with Fords . Too weard

If insurance has determined damages at $34,000+ before any possible supplements then they will take
34,000 / 80% to show $42,500 as it sits. Value of car should be below $42,500, so I don't see them fixing it.
