I had a Magnetic and now have a Monterey Red which is slightly darker. I'm not sure where the other two fit in. They may all be fairly close. Usually there are some posts of comparisons when a new red comes out. Maybe you could find some on a search.

If you do a search there is a thread that has all the colors in one photo.

Here's a comparison compliments of Dave at Kerbeck.

Wet blood or dried blood? Wet blood would be Victory Red. Dried blood would be Monterey Red. Just my opinion.

The real red, non metalic, like your black Vette, is Victory Red.

non metallics:
Precision red is the darkest, followed by victory, then the orange-ish torch red.

Metallics, Monterey, then Crystal and Mag red, they are fairly close.

I think precision would be closest to blood red.

Not sure what type of interior accents you're planning on, but here is a pic of my dash letters painted Crystal Red.

And here is Monterey Red before I changed it out to body color black metallic. I loved the MR, but I like to change things up and didn't want to be locked into it as a trim color forever.

I'm of course partial to the Montery Red since my '07 is that color. The cool part about this color though is that it never looks the same in different lights. I don't have a clue why, but its never the same. I go up to the S. Calif. mountains, blue sky and this car is sparkling! On cloudy days, totally different. At night, it can look almost black. BTW, I let a woman pick out the color when I ordered it...that was a good choice! They know what they like as I get a lot more compliments on the color from women. Makes me happy

I like the Crystal Red Metallic the most, and it's an '08 color. That's b/c it's the color of my car.

My vette is AO, but my XLR-V is Crystal Red and it is a awesome color. Here's 2 pics that show how the color changes in different lighting.

And, here's a side-by-side pic of Mag Red, Precision Red, Victory Red......and for comparison only, the Torch Red of the C5.

It's hard to tell much from the photographs...especially for some of the reds which are very chameleon like depending on the lighting. I'd say Monterey red is the darkest. Magnetic Red Metallic II is almost a candy apple red in the bright sunshine but it looks considerably darker on an overcast day or at night.
