Default Any Regrets Going with 2LT vs. 3LT?

Looking at a deal on a new 08 victory rd coupe, two tone red/ebony seats, auto, base suspension with 2LT. My previous 06 vert was a 3LT. Anyone ever move from 3LT to 2LT and regretted it? Anyone currently a 2LT owner that is either disappointed or totally satisfied with 2LT? Thanks. Dan

Have 08 victory red coupe (MT) with 2LT and its just fine. I'd have liked the heated seats as a seperate option if they were available(NOT) but, did'nt need all the other bells and whistles of the 3LT. Have all that other stuff in the family sedan and don't need it or want it in the vette.

I like the 3LT and would not do w/o the HUD, but that's just me. It really depends on your preferences. If it matters to you, I would not settle.

can't imagine not having HUD, it's a great option other cars don't have. Heated seats are even nice in Florida on cool nights

You'll always regret not having "so and so" option. Get a 3lt Vette.

Nope....Didn't need or want all the extra junk that comes with a 3LT. It's amazing how many reported problems there are here with these extras. I did want the better seats though and the Airbags were a bonus..
No regrets. If I ever decide I want an HUD I'll retrofit one for lots less than the 3LT package..

In Nebraska, the heated seats do come in handy, occasionally.

I totally agree with the comments on the HUD. Mine was used and came equipped with HUD. I told the seller, I didn't really even want it and tried to (with a little success) use it as a negotiation point. Now that I have it, it's just like a gargae door opener or an automatic ice maker...not really mandatory, but really nice to have and will grow on you very soon! If you can do the deal, I'd get the HUD.

PS-I'd give up owning a Vette if I could just wear my Dress Blues one more time! I miss being a Marine!

Jim: I had a HUD in my 04 coupe and my 06 vert. Both of my prior vettes had all the bells and whistles. I'm probably nuts even thinking about 2LT after having a 3LT. Oh, well. Dan

Default 2LT option

Love the 2LT, hated the HID cutout reflection on the glass so made a dash cover from the "A" pillar to the cntr of the dash which now hides the cutout and is a mount for the radar...

I LOVE my 08 victory red 2LT Coupe which also has the two tone red/ebony seats! The only reasons I went with the 2LT over the 1LT is for the two tone seats. Yes, I would've liked to had HUD but no way on the rest of the options. Heated seats, memory seats, blah, blah, blah...I wanted a sports car...not a Caddy!

I'm very satisfied with my 2LT, but then again, I moved up from a 1LT. I would've loved to have the HUD and bose, but since I got such a great deal, and there wern't any available at the time, No regrets. I do think, if you're used to a 3LT, you might miss some of those options. Either way, it's a new 'Vette!!

And memory seats are good for the exit setting so your side bolster isnt worn so much.
