Default Down South Vettes 2005 Steering wheel pictures inside

Gerardo does it again! Anyone that is even remotely considering doing this upgrade, just do it - Yes, this means you Rollie

The workmanship is as to be expected from DSVettes, flawless. The red leather and red stitching match perfectly to my other red accents courtesy of Down South Vettes. My DSV count is now 10 (steering wheel, shift ****, shift boot, ebrake handle, ebrake boot, center console, drivers door pull, passenger door pull, drivers visor and passenger visor.) Each and every part is a masterpiece. Gerardo and Lino, thank you my friends. Simply an incredible upgrade that you don't realize how much you need until you do and look back on the work. Just a few pictures.

Enjoy,
Paul

Wow, that looks great, Paul. I can only imagine how good that wheel must feel in your hands. Did you perform the swap yourself? If so, how difficult was it? Does Gerry have this set up as an exchange program or do you get to keep your original wheel? Now that I've seen yours, I'm thinking that I need to do this in my '05 (assuming that I get a new roof soon!). Great job, Paul.

Ha- Ha Funny guy !

I dunno Paul . . it's either that or a new Glock 26. . . . I don't realize you'd added all those DSV creations - -day-yum . . looks awesome !

Two possibilities:

1) She won't notice . . . (yeah honey . . it's always been there ... )

2) If Gerardo can't match Precision Red should it be black and cashmere or ?

Rollie

Michael,

Yes, I did the swap myself this morning. I have completely photographed every aspect of it and will be creating a DIY. I'll be happy to send it to you. I don't think I will publish this one just for fear of liability regarding the airbag swap. It is not too difficult with even average mechanical ability. It took me about an hour and a half and that was including stopping to photograph each step.

The wheels are generally done on a core exchange so you would be sending your's back once you make the swap.

Sorry buddy, I couldn't resist. I saw your post in the other steering wheel thread. Yes, you have to have this and the match to our Precision red is amazing. Get the Glock, wait a few weeks and then get the wheel when you've saved your pennies back up again.

Hey Tim,

Thanks man. You will love it when you do it. Gerardo is the class of the field for leather work and this is just incredible in the car.

You'll get to see it in August at the NCM. We're driving down as usual for Labor Day.

The '06 wheel is going to look great in the Todd. How long until you rotate back home?
