I would definately make them approximately 1 inch wider than the Z. That way it will accommodate the new 375/20/21 wheel and tire. There is another forum vendor making wider rear pannels.

I would love a wide rear fender with a different style brake duct and a front wider fender that I don't need to buy a new front end also.

The scoops (air ducts) always turned me off to the widebody conversion.

Well, I believe we will be making wider front and rear fenders. How much wider are say the Z06 fronts from the base C6? Were thinking of making them as wide as the Z/ZR1 but still use the stock front bumper. Any help is appreciated as we have already started on the fenders, Im hoping I can have some pix soon on some of this stuff.

My vote is in for

A little wider than Z06
No scoop on rear pannels
wide front fender that line up with c6 base front

All this happens at the prices you say and my wheels will be up for sale so I can get wider ones

Well, everybody's saying "no scoop" so I'm going to be in the minority here. I think you should make the scoop a little larger, like this...

If you make a wide rear only kit, a matching profile to the fronts would be a must (wider lip). The Caravaggio and Z06 sets don't look right with standard C6 fronts IMO.

I like your idea.

Not surprising in that the “general” public lacks the acuity to discern such distinctions, hence the term general is most fitting.

I like it but my reason for not wanting the vents is I don't want someone to think I am wanting to make a Z06 clone. I want the wide fenders Just to put a wider tire for my own taste. vent or not I am open to both.

A little wider than Z06 (so that a 345 will just 'tuck' inside the lip, for max lowering)

No scoop on rear panels

Wide front fender that lines up with C6 base front (and the liner)

Just get the Z06 fenders with the brake cooler scoops, you're done.

Lol, yeai I definitely dont mind, Im sure you dont either I just want to make sure if we get these made we get them as wide as everyone would like. I can do the rears as wide as the Z06 (1.65 inches wider I believe) and front as well and keep the stock front bumper. I just need to know how much wider they are on the Z

The fronts should be able to handle AT LEAST 295mm tires (the Z06 does this); ideally they should handle 305mm tires in the front. The C5's will accommodate 315mm front tires!!!
