I definetely agree with you. Besides the stock GM Z06 fenders/quarters, we already have several other vendors (Caravaggio, ACI, ACP, etc.) offering stock Z06 style/width panels. It would be nice to see some nice larger flared panels offered to give the Corvette a moderately aggressive, race-inspired look. Also, making the rear intake taller to match the front panel's opening would also be appealing.

I stopped by the chevy dealer today and looked at a Z06. nothing to measure it with but if you "eye" it from the fender level it looks like the front is flared almost the same as the rear. it is just more suttle looking than the rear flare. not sure how it would work without a z06 front end though. good luck. I am definately wanting a wider rear end on mine and am willing to look at what you come up with for the front. I thought the Z06's came with 345's on the rear but this one had 325's. from my understanding we can already get 315's on the back of a stock C6. thats not much of a wider tire for the Z06 unless the 345's fit.

Well I got a message from my builders today they are wanting to do 1.5 inches wider on the rear fenders and 1 inch on the front. The rear will be a stock looking C6 rear fender (no scoop) and the front will be a ZR1 style front and 1 inch wider than a stock C6. You will be able to use the stock front bumper though. We are also making a Z06 style front bumper as well, with a lower lip. As soon as I get some pix I will post them.

Well I think at this width they are a bit narrower, we can make the rear 1.65 which I think the Z06 is (correct me if im wrong) As for the front, I dont know how wide the Z06 fenders are. My guy's just decided not as wide up front compared to the rear. We are getting ready to finish these up and and if im going to get them changed to 1.65 inches wider on the rear I need a definite "yeah do that" as for the front 1 inch wider than stock should look good IMO, especially when you still use the stock front bumper.
As for pricing, I wont have that until everything is complete, but I would say front fenders will be in the $650 range for the pair. As far as the lining, I wish I could produce that but at this moment I dont think we can, I can always ask though.

Well the fenders might be done next week (well the prototype) they would then be send out to make the mold, it's a long process, but the final product would take like 3 months to finally be done.
Are you saying make the front fenders wider than 1 inch? They have already been made to look like a ZR1 fenders, we just need to flare them out now.

so you will have a rear fender with no vent thats about the same width as the Z06 fender and a front fender wider that I can use my stock front bumper??? if thats the case I am happy. let us know when available. fyi, the little wider on the rear sounds good also. just want a fender I can put on my stock c6 and be able to put up to 345's on the back and they "fit" under the fender. I am ASSuming that you will have modified inner fenders to go with these. thanks for the efforts.

So I would find out for sure that z06 sized wheels will fit, and if not move the rears up to 1.65 so they do.

I guess the 1.5's should be fine in the rear. as long as you can fit z06 sized wheels in the back with out rubbing. When looking at standard rear z06 fenders, it seems that the wheels are slightly tucked in, so 1.5 should fit 19x12's nicely. If they dont, these fenders would be pointless, and will basically have no wheel options besides custom forged wheels. That will hurt your sales dramatically in my opinion.

I agree, I think we should do 1.65. I will keep you guys posted.

In addition to widening them, it would be nice to have a novel shape for the brake scoop than what currently exists.

if you can't product the inner wheel well covers will the new fenders fit up to the existing ones? I would not want a gap between the new fender and the plastic (or whatever) wheel well liners.

Well worst case scenario would be to get them from GM or whoever if we make them as wide as the Z06 fenders. We might be able to produce them, but I dont know if they will want too, I can ask.

Well we are going to be doing Z06 sizes on the back (no scoop) and 1 inch wider up front (ZR1 style) the front fenders are done as far as making them look ZR1ish, but we still need to flare them out. I will post pix when they are done.

What would be great would be a vendor that would make a 18x11 rear wheel that would tuck under a stock fender.
Don't see a market for the rear fenders. A few vendors on here offer the complete package or used ones for pretty close to what development costs would be.
