Default C6 - No start

My 2005 C6 does not start or even turn over. I tried jump starting with no result at all (Battery is only a year old and appears fine). I also replaced the clutch relay switch that detects that that clutch is actually depressed, in the hope that might be a simple fix. Unfortunately, it still won't start. Any ideas? Help! Thanks!

Do you have any electrical at all? Lights? ACC? Doors lock/unlock? Rear deck open/motor close it?

Sometimes a battery with a dead cell will not jump start. Take it out and go get a test on it. If it is bad you should get a new one free if it is only a year old.

Lights are bright. Radio, door locks, etc. work fine.

I just had the original battery replaced in my 07, this was after one dealer found,"no problems" and another changed out the alternator. Two days later the car was dead in the garage again and it would not start after trying to jump it with my charger in the 50 amp start mode. G.M. sent a tow truck and the driver was able to get it jump started with his system. I drove the car to the dealer with the tow driver following and when we got there he told the service writer that the battery had a dead cell. The battery was tested and found to be good but the mechanic said he thought it was the ignition switch and since it was Saturday the car would have to sit til Monday. On Monday the mechanic who normally works on vettes checked the battery again and found it to be bad. Battery changed and no further problems. Hope this helps.

altho it could be several other things, remember that a supposedly good battery that operates lights may not have enough juice to turn over the engine, or allow it to keep running once it's started! there is a check process with the ignition on, but the engine off to check the charge level of the battery, but darned if I can remember it.
