Default What is your best deal on OnStar minutes upgrade?

Curious what rate / #minutes some of you got with OnStar minutes addition. My minutes are set to expire unless I do an add on, per my understanding from OnStar. Though the OnStar service don't expire until a few monther later. Go figure.

FREE! I called OnStar and told them I would only renew my OnStar subscription if they added a year to my phone minutes. I did not get any additional minutes, only an extension on the expiration date.

I have my OnStar linked to my Verizon cell phone account. $10 a month and it shares the minutes of my Verizon cell phone account. Alot cheaper than what OnStar charges for minutes.

Just got an offer from OnStar--$29.00/100min and so on up to several hundred graduated down in cost from regular prices. I'll try to find the email and tell you more.

Best bet is to link you minutes to your cell phone account. Be aware that there is a cost to do this but in the end it is far less expensive.

Just signed up for the free 30 day trial, and they offered 200 min for a year at $15.00 and the phone minuets or good even if I don't keep the OnStar trial.

Same here... I get in the car and forward all calls to my vette's number, i get out of the car and forward the calls back to my cell phone. It works great, and the convenience only costs me ten bucks a month.

I had Verizon OnStar piggy backed onto my original VZW plan, but dropped it because nobody could hear a sound from my end when I drive over ~25mph because the microphone cuts out due to wind and road noise. I had to pay the stupid $175 termination fee too because they converted my plan...I was a VZW customer for 12+ years so I dropped them and went to crappy coverage of AT&T...

Wow that's awesome. I wonder if ATT does that.

I got 14 months Renewal with the phone minutes rolling over for the 14 months and paid $249.00 for the normal ($300 12 month package).

Screw Onstar. A blue tooth setup and a cell phone (which everyone already has) is FREE.

Just a note:
Yesterday On Star sent me an e-mail saying that they would auto-renew me for $114 per year. This seems like a good deal but I said that I would not renew in Aug when it expires. I only have it because it was free for a year. Seems like a waste of money.
