Need Advice on Rockford P3 & MB Quart Amp for Subthump Box
I have an 08 C6 coupe and thinking about using Steve's subthump enclosure (to keep the cost down.) Unlike JL Stealthbox and Boxology box, ect... which are made out of fiberglass so they can be molded into any shape or form to accommodate a longer sub such as the JL 10W3v2, ect... Subthump box is made out of MDF so the heigh is only about 4" deep. If I go with this box, I'll have to use the Rockford Fosgate P3 10" shallow mount (3.55"" deep, 300 Wrms). I'm also thinking about using the MB Quart DSC280 (x320Wrms x 1) or the MB Quart DSC2150 (300Wrms x 2 or 600Wrms x 1 mono bridged) to push the sub. The later amp is just in case I want to add another P3 sub if a single P3 is not enough. What do you think about these components? Are there any other subs out there that will fit Steve's box? Is one P3 enough? Thanks for all your help in advance.

The P3 will work fine. You may want to consider using a Rockford P3001 or P5001. Either amp will give you solid performance and have the flexibility to drive multiple drivers if you need. PM me any questions.

16 Vettes and counting…..
Just installed this today. Factory Bose w/NAV needed a little help, and this sounds pretty good. Subthump box w RF P3 sub, Alpine M500 amp. I'll probably add the one for the passenger side as well.
