CD. You can also have a keyfob remote added as an option if you want to
control the exhasut from outside the car.

Command it to be Loud and mean when you want it.

Open and close your exhaust with ONE button on your Lear Car2U
visor or with an optional One button Keyfob remote. Switch between
Quiet and Loud anytime at the push of a button!

You press the button on the Car2U visor or keyfob remote once, the
valves in the bi-mode mufflers close and you have the quiet factory
operation mode, nice and quiet and opening at the factory rpm, press
the button again, the valves open and you are in Loud mode and ready
to rumble! Exhaust Commander is 100% Zero Battery Drain when the
car is turned off.

Installation Process :

Step 1: Fold down the passenger footwell carpet to reveal the fuse panel area.

Step 2:Pull the two fuses that the arrows are pointing to.
In the photo the fuses are already pulled out.


Step 3: Install the fuse adapter as shown in the top fuse slot.
Install the exhaust fuse signal wire into the left side of the exhaust fuse slot as shown,
and tie down the ground ring under the 7mm bolt on the amplifier as shown.


Step 4: Place the main unit underneath the amplifier.


Step 5: Use the supplied unique code to sync the Lear Car2U visor to the main unit.

Step 6:Fold the passenger footwell carpet back into place.

You are all done!

I have the original one and it works great! Controlling the switch from the visor is the easiest application... The remote control is great for "out of the car" parking lot demonstrations.

With the zero drain on this method can I have it set to startup in Mild? If so does it still go Wild after 3,500 rpm?

Yes, there are two startup options to choose from and they can be changed anytime.

Zero Battery Drain valves start closed - when the car is started it will be in the factory operation mode and will open at the factory rpm.

Zero Battery Drain valves start open - when you start the car the valves will stay in the loud / open position.

After startup you can then open and close the butterflies using the Lear Car2U universal visor remote. No keyfob remtoes are needed, just the visor.

When the butterflies are in the closed position they operate exactly like they did from the factory. When you choose Loud / Open mode they are open until you choose to close them.

Uopn the startup of the car they will revert to the startup option you have chosen.

There is available as an option a small keyfob remote that can be used outside the car to open and close the butteflies while at carshows or for just showing off outside the car.
