Amsoil with Additive Z-Max
I have had several folks respond to the Amsoil vs other oils and I appreciate all the feed back recieved. Now I have another question. I was watching Two Guys Garage today when I saw Bruton Smith Mr. Nascar promoting Z-Max. I have never tried Z-Max must less added to the Amsoil I already use. Has anyone out there added Z-Max to your Amsoil. Tks TIM$VETT in NC

Amsoil syn is ALL you need... additives are there to make you $$$ go bye bye. If you ever do any engine mods (cam/heads/Lingenfelter set up) then just switch to Amsoil AMO

Being curious, I found the Zmax website, where they were posting some baloney about rearranging the oil molecule blah blah blah.
They provide a link to the MSDS for each product. The engine oil MSDS lists "Mineral Oil" (CAS 8042-47-5) as >99% ingredient, no other ingredients. A bit of Googling shows that CAS 8042-47-5 is the same old white mineral oil you can buy at Target or KMart for a couple or three bucks a quart. All Zmax products show the same MSDS result, so the only difference is less than 1 % dye for color.
Proof from the vendor that the stuff is worse than useless; it will dilute your good additive-fortified Mobil 1, or Amsoil, or Redline, or Royal Purple, or Pennzoil Platinum etc. etc.
Ya think old Mr. Shelby did it for the money ? ? ? ? ?

They had high gas prices going for them for a while. It seems like people would buy anything to save gas but then they usually spent more for the junk than they would have saved at the pump even with what the company said you would save.

"***** enlargement" pills are sold in enough quantities to saturate cable channels with nonstop infomercials between midnight and 0600, and commercial time during the rest of the day. That only proves what PT Barum said. Uh, not that I'd know from personal experience..lol.
