Default Installed the GM Splash Guards Today on Yellow C6--Pics

I finally decided to purchase the GM Splash Guards today and installed them. The install was pretty easy, but the fronts were showing a little bit of the tape. It took some time, but I finally got the gaps close. For the most part, I'm pretty happy with them.

Looks good!

I had the same problem with the rears pulling away and showing tape also. I used a black trim putty strip to fill in the gap.

Actually, my issues were on the both fronts. Back guards were fine. Thanks for the compliment!

I knew about the black pen trick (helps cover up any of the adhesive tape from showing) in advance so the job was pretty easy. It was an easy mod and looks good.

That's a lot of pics for Splash Guards.

Among the first things I did on my C6.

No, I have acrylic blackouts on my rear taillights, side markers and front driving lights. I love them. Here is a pic from the front view.

BTW, if you do it, I would suggest blacking out the edges of the tape before install.

I did mine and they came out great as well. Works well on the white paint with and matches the factory black trim to add a little bit of detail
