Can someone tell me if, the heated seats switches in my 08 ZO6 are on a fuse?

If so, where is the fuse located?

My expenience w/ heated seats have not been good. Therefore, I'd like to disable 'em if poss. Plus, livin in the deep South doesn't present much need for the heated seats.

On the passenger side, pull the top of the carpeting down. The seat fuse should be marked on the diagram affixed to the back of the carpeting....up here in the great white north, we LOVE our heated seats. Had the windows open just last night listening to the exhaust, with the seats on HIGH!

Fuse box under the passenger side toeboard. Top row of fuses, 5th fuse from the left. There's a diagram near the end of Chapter 5 of the owner's manual.

I'm thinkin once I disable these two switches. That may give me the two switches to be used for something else on the console

Inside the fuse box there is another box that I think the fuse is in. how do you open that box
