Although the photo shop picture looks pretty good, I would leave it as is. A little contrast is good, and as you stated earlier, it matches your splash guards.
I'm still tempted to go with the SLP exhaust, but I'm worried about drone...my car is an A4. Any advise?

i like it painted..it's just not at the top of my mod list..performance is first for me..but eventually i want to do it on my VR coupe. my brother has his done on his VR vert and it looks awesome...makes the car look lower from the rear view.

Some parts of the car should just be left alone and this is one of them.

You know a lot of people on this forum dislike the look of my SLP, but I get compliments on it when driving on a weekly basis. As for drone, it has very little with the cast aluminum tips as the cast does not allow the sound to resonate hardly at all in the cabin of the vehicle--that's what this was specifically designed for. Almost all of the sound resonates to directly behind the car--good aggressive tone without being too loud also.

You got the mod bug BAD!! Good for you! I too am afflicted by it.
My vote is not to paint it yellow, but I do suggest painting it GLOSS black. I did have mine painted body color (JSB) but after awhile I wasn't diggin' it too much, so I re-did it GLOSS black, since I have some black accents on my car already. (I also did my rear splash guards gloss.) It's pretty easy and not too expensive to do and I think it looks MUCH better than flat black.
Just my opinion. Your car is looking GREAT!!!!!

Agreed. The car needs to keep some contrast. IMO the painted diffuser is too much. Plus, keeping it black would go with the small yellow/black theme you have going on with the tinted tails.

I would leave it as is, I like the contrast.

OK, thanks guys. I was leaning more toward not doing it anyway, just thought I'd get some opinions.
BTW, Jay.Why is that an RK Sport rear spoiler?

Both painted and original black look good. I vote for the carbon fiber look. I have a Victory Red car and like the contrast of the black trim.
