Default Front Air Dam / Spoiler Replacement

Anyone replace their 3 piece front air dam / spoiler?

Talking about these pieces: http://www.mamotorworks.com/corvette...-166-7549.html

If so how easy or difficult was it? What was required, lifting the car, nuts, bolts screws etc.?

Default Air Dam replacement

I'm looking for advice too. I have the replacement sets, but would feel better about unscrewing/unbolting things with some back-up advice from someone who's done it. It looks easy!! How hard can it be?

As an aside, I've looked throughout the web and have not been able to find anything on this subject.

Side ones are easy, just drove my car up my Race Ramps and took them off to replace them. Although I used the newer "short" versions that don't connect to the middle piece.

pretty sure they're just held into place with plastic clips.

jack up the car and take a look, i've done much more involved jobs.. all i had to do was get started, everything else falls into place.

I did mine with no issues, and no big deal. I can't remember the metric nut driver size I used. Seems like the screws were on the canter air dam, and the plastic fasteners where you pull a pin out of the center to remove them, were the side ones. It was so easy I can't recall the details.

I have access to a hoist, so it was no big deal. Getting the front on jack stands would take more time than the R & R, but ramps would make it an easie job.

I just used my Race Ramps to elevate the front.

The job was not difficult. Requires just a few common hand tools. There are some push in retainers, some 7 mm and 10 mm fasteners. Just remember how things come apart.

I did mine after tangling with a road gator . As stated above they weren't difficult but the center piece, IIRC, fits over/around a brace that runs from side to side. It just took a little patience and time to slide it in.
